Church Action on Poverty

Church Action on Poverty is a national campaigning body, but also runs grassroots projects in local communities. We give people a voice. By sharing the stories of real-life experts more widely, we can challenge the myths which stigmatise people in poverty.

Commission on Social Security

Launched in May 2019, the Commission on Social Security is an initative to make proposals for a better social security (welfare benefits) system. All the Commissioners are Experts by Experience. This means they each have lived experience of the benefits system.

Create London

We find new ways for art and creative practice to benefit the lives of people in towns and cities. Create London is an arts organisation that has pioneered working with artists to realise new social enterprises, charities and cultural spaces. We commission, curate and incubate long-term projects that are useful to society, supporting artists to work collaboratively with local communities. We reimagine the role of the artist in the city, working outside of galleries to find new and often surprising ways for art to become part of everyday life.

Disabled People Against the Cuts (DPAC)

DPAC is about disabled people and their allies. DPAC is UK based but we know that disabled people in other countries are suffering from austerity cuts and a lack of fundamental rights. We welcome all to join us in fighting for justice and human rights for all disabled people.

Economic Hardship Reporting Project

The aim of the Economic Hardship Reporting Project (EHRP) is to change the national conversation around poverty and economic insecurity.

Economic Justice Coalition

The Economic Justice Coalition is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Athens, Georgia. Our mission is to educate, advocate and organize for quality jobs with living wages and benefits.

Our work can be divided into three main areas: finding out how people feel about economics, providing a 'stop-gap' of products which represent the change we want to see, and campaigning for others communicating around economics to do so in an understandable way.

Fill in the Blanks

Fill in the Blanks is led by sixth form students from South London, all of whom have family from former British colonies. The group is passionate about combatting the violence perpetrated by the governments’ inaction to confront its history and call the national curriculum to include British colonial history.
